in His hands...

 Like many of you, I am disappointed with the results of last night's election.  God has laid it on my heart to search the Scriptures that pertain to this time.

But remember God's promise in Jeremiah 29:11: 

"'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord.  'Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

God has got it under control.

 He has it in His hands.

"He replied, 'You of little faith, why are you so afraid?'  Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves and it was completely calm."   ~Matthew 8:26

God has got it under control.

 He has it in His hands.

 Recall the words to that Sunday school song, "He's got the whole world in His hands!"  

"...the authorities that exist have been established by God."

~Romans 13:1

 God's got it handled.  How can we doubt Him?  He's proven Himself to us over, and over, and over, and over again!

 I believe we do not have the right to judge the one God has appointed in charge of our country.  We need to trust in the Lord that He will work everything out for the good of those who love Him!  Yes, our country may be in trouble right now, but...we have hope.  We have a promise.  In Jesus!
